Site Identification and Due Diligence: Conducting initial title due diligence by meticulously reviewing land registry information and engaging with landowners and their agents. Using digital mapping applications, such as Google Earth & GIS software to assess and document potential sites.

Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining a strong network of relationships with authorities, agencies, associations, and landowners. Collaborating across project teams, including development, engineering, technical, legal, commercial and financial functions within the company.

Project Development Support: Championing the initial land investment case, conducting preliminary analysis of identified land (environmental, urban planning, legalisation) and providing valuable property advice to the company’s Project Development Team​

Land Acquisition Process

Initiating the first contact with local councils to validate the suitability of the land for urban planning regulation purposes. Finding practical solutions to resolve landowner concerns and managing the entire process of securing land agreements.

Community Engagement and Legal Compliance

Working collaboratively with local communities to address concerns and ensure project alignment with community goals. Developing expert property knowledge for the business and staying abreast of new legal and property matters. Leading multiple project land negotiations from inception to completion with legal support and managing day-to-day relationships with landowners.

Qualifications and Skills

With 20 years’ experience in property acquisition, we possess the knowledge, exceptional communication and commercial negotiation skills, along with flexibility to travel throughout Australia.

Technical Proficiency

We are fluent in the use of software such as MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), Google Earth, GIS software and project collaboration tools. We are proficiency in business and project management software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with site access issues and OH&S requirements, coupled with experience in budgetary and risk management.
