Biodiversity Credits Australia was established in 2018 in response to a market demand for biodiversity offset transaction services.

We specialise in the identification, establishment and transaction of biodiversity credits required to offset impacts to the unique ecosystems on the land that property and infrastructure developers seek to develop.

Whilst the Biodiversity Offset Act of 2016 minimises the impact of development on the environment it has introduced a complex administrative layer that has the potential to impact project timelines.

We invest in or locate landholders with high quality biodiversity sites around NSW and work with a team of experienced ecologists alongside the Biodiversity Taskforce to establish and issue biodiversity credits.

Biodiversity Credits Australia takes care of the entire process for developers – from identifying credits, liaising with landowners and ecologists to establish them, and coordinating with the taskforce to minimise delays.

We enable developers to fulfil their biodiversity obligations whilst focusing on their core capabilities.
